I think you’ve covered some really excellent points, but I would challenge you to ask “WHAT is globalization good for?” It seems that you (like many economists) see globalization as an important factor in progress toward more diversified and productive economies in the global South. But those opposed to globalization (mostly anthropologists, and some sociologists) would point out that concepts of ‘progress’ and ‘development’ are culturally and socially constructed, and thus culturally relative. Logging company could operate there, they would likely have a very different perception of whether or not that was a ‘progressive’ act on the part of the government, and a very different perspective on our idea of ‘development’ as well.

Other than that, they had to wait outside the gates..
Kant developed a rational process for understanding when people would be intrinsically motivated by a sense of duty. He called this the ‘categorical imperative’. ‘an unconditional moral [or ethical] law that applies to all rational beings’. 4 years agoI have a 1 year and 1/2 Siberian husky. He is a wonderful dog in every aspect. Until we leave the house.
It’s also become the favored tactic used by those who lack sufficient knowledge to debate others who have it. Sneaky? Yes. Effective? Well, that depends on who is using it and who has to put up with it. A source familiar with transition discussions said of Tillerson’s stock in the selection process, “It is rising.” The multi millionaire presides over the world’s largest oil company, which operates in more than 50 countries and explores for oil and natural gas on six of world’s seven continents. He is well known to Mr. Trump and has drawn late favor from some factions within the transition.
